What a fabulous weekend we’ve had for family cycling weather wise! It’s hard to believe its the same season today with the driving rain and high winds!
Cycling around Warkworth
We had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon cycling around Warwkorth on saturday. There’s a great network of cycle routes that take you along the river and around the castle, along the riverside to the harbour village of Amble, and along the coast to Alnmouth. We liked that it was all off road and safely away from the traffic.
We cycled all the way along the coastal path north of Warkworth and stopped for lunch in the picturesque coastal village of Alnmouth. We had a fantastic family day out and hope that the weather permits many more weekends for family cycling over the coming months.
